    Hi @dxylott54,

    Yes, version 7.4.1 (released around two weeks ago) introduced some CSS changes that all modern browsers (including Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox) support.

    Google Chrome 109 (released over 3 years ago) and Firefox 115 (also released over 3 years ago) do not support the new CSS selectors that WP Popular Posts 7.4.1 and newer uses.

    If you absolutely have to support these older versions of Google Chrome and Firefox then you may need to stay on plugin version 7.4.0.

    My recommendation though would be to ask your visitors to update their browsers to their respective current releases. There’s no good reason to be using 3+ years old browsers (especially for security reasons.)

    Thank you for explaining the reason.
    I thought this was a bug.
    But I’m relieved to know that it’s not a bug, but rather “CSS changes.”
    I’ll continue using the new version as is.

    Additional information in case it helps:

    • Google Chrome 109 global user share sits at 0.59% (as of September 5, 2026)
    • Mozilla Firefoz 115 global user share is around 0.15% (as of September 5, 2026)

    (According to statcounter.com statistics, see https://caniuse.com/usage-table)

    Given that only a handful of visitors still use these legacy browser versions, I’m not sure it’s worth the development effort to continue supporting Chrome 109 and Firefox 115.
