[Plugin: Meet the Team Shortcode] group order

I fairly new to wp.org sites, but have been asked to do some admin on my company’s site. It is using WP – Meet the Team Shortcode V2 Plugin to display the staff page, but I am having trouble getting it to use the department groups to order the display. Is there a newer version? Or a recommendation for a more full-featured plugin.

I am concerned that getting a different plugin with more features would require me to re enter all the data. I wonder if this plug in is using regular user profiles so that if I change the data will be easily ported over.
