I would like to hook my listings into the default WP posts so that when a new listing is posted, the listing is also automatically posted to the default WP posts page, but without thumbnails. It would look pretty much the same way this support forum lists each topic as a titled link in a list, but each post title will follow to the single listing post when clicked. Is this possible with the WP Listings plugin? (I’m using the most current Genesis theme framework.)

    Thanks

I took a screen capture of what I’m trying to do with WP listings as far as getting my listings to display on my posts page (the pic is an example from a different WordPress plugin for real estate listings).

Will I have to create a template or can the WP Listings plugin be hooked (or looped) into the WP posts? If it can’t be done then I’ll use a different plugin because I’m not a coder, but I wanted to check first.

No, they are different post types. The default WP behavior is only for posts to be shown on the posts page. If you want to show other post types, you’ll need to use a custom query that includes the post types you want along with the default posts.
