Wp list pages

Is there a plugin that will let me put a certain number of pages on the sidebar sorted by last modified? I read up on the list_pages function at http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/wp_list_pages but I don’t think that let’s you limit the number of pages that’s shown. Any help or step in the right direction would be appreciated.
