UPDATE: This is what it looks like – http://i.imgur.com/VJA5F8b.png
I’ve tried placing the [jobs] shortcode on a different page and updated the WP Job Manager settings so that it would look for the shortcode on the different page. That didn’t work. So it seems it’s just this one particular shortcode, not the others, that isn’t working with this particular theme.
Can you link to your site so I can check this out for myself? Thanks!
Sorry! It’s PaidMFTInternships.com – but I’m not currently using the BeTheme layout because I need my website to continue functioning properly while I sort through this issue. I’m guessing I have to activate BeTheme so you can see how the two interact… or would it be possible for you to tell me what I need to copy-and-paste from the code while BeTheme and WP Job Manager are activated, so I can minimize the inconvenience caused to my customers? Thanks!

Yes.
Although note that, if you switched themes to something else and it works now, the issue is more than likely with the BeTheme itself. In which case you’ll want to contact the theme author to see if they can fix it.
Anyway, if you want to switch to BeTheme and let me know here, I can check it out a bit more. Thanks!
Okay, I’ve switched over to the BeTheme layout! You should be able to see what I described. The job listings on the home page don’t appear like they should, BUT one of the other shortcodes works (http://paidmftinternships.com/post/).
UPDATE: Aha! So a few interesting things to note. First, it seems the job listings ARE appearing when I use IE (desktop), Chrome (mobile), and Safari (mobile), but they ARE NOT showing up when I use Chrome (desktop). I’ve tried deleting my cache, restarting my browser, etc. with no luck. I’ve also noticed that there are bullet points appearing before the job types (Full time, Part time, etc.) and I’m not sure how to get rid of those… could be something I need to do on the theme-side of things. The other technical issues seem to be related to the theme, not the plugin, so once I can get this weird issue with Chrome (desktop) resolved, I think I’ll be back in business! π Any suggestions?
UPDATE 2: Okay, so when I used an Incognito window on Chrome (desktop), I COULD see the job listings. I cleared my browsing history, cache, cookies, etc. for Chrome and was able to view the job listings. So now I just need to figure out how to prevent this from happening with my viewers, and how to get rid of these stupid bullet points… any ideas? π Perfectly okay if that’s up to me to figure out, since they weren’t there before and it probably has something to do with the theme I’m testing out.
UPDATE 3: Hmmm… okay, so now I’m experiencing a different issue. Once I cleared everything in Chrome, the job listings started appearing; however, the header/menu completely disappeared. Then, after clearing the WordPress cache, the header/menu reappeared; however, the job listings disappeared. What is going on?! >:(
Sounds like a caching problem maybe. Try turning off your caching plugin entirely, or making sure that it’s not caching pages for logged-in users.
For what it’s worth, I’m using Chrome on my laptop and I see everything OK:

Let me know if that works, thanks! π
Hmmm. I’ve completely cleared my cache and deactivated WP Super Cache. When I’m NOT logged into WordPress, the job listings are coming up, but the header/menu are gone. It’s the opposite when I AM logged into WordPress, the header/menu are visible but the job listings don’t come up. I guess I’ll have to keep experimenting.
I’m not logged in (obviously) but I see both the menu and the listings:

If you open your site in another browser that you don’t usually use, is this what you see as well? Or something else?
Looks like it’s okay now! I think the changes just didn’t register right away for some reason. Thanks for your help! π
