I simply place the short-code on a blank page. I have replaced this with the invoice history short code which works fine. So seems like definitely something with the [wp-invoice] short code.
When you place a shortcode [wp-invoice] somewhere this means you are defining a place where the content of ALL your separate invoices will be displayed. And that doesn’t mean you’ll see something there if you just go to that page with the shortcode.
To understand this you should just create a page lets say ‘Invoice Page’. Put there the following content:
Invoice is bellow
[wp-invoice]
Invoice is above
Then create new invoice http://screencast.com/t/4guqxD9A and be sure the following option http://screencast.com/t/ty1MXVGR is set to ‘Replace [wp-invoice] tag’.
Now go view invoice online http://screencast.com/t/hzpZjoYgcaJo
That is exactly what I am doing, but the page simply shows the short code on the front-end. But if I use [wp-invoice-history] on the same page, instead of [wp-invoice], then it works.

Have tried all things noted here – fully updated version of WP and plugin running and the shortcode insertion on page does not work at all.
