wp image gallery cycling order

    so here is the landing page for the wordpress image gallery. If i click on the first thumb (top left corner of grid) it takes me to the image viewer with only a ‘previous’ button as an option. If it’s the first image there should be a next button instead. It’s as if the order is reversed in the image viewer.
