    Hi

We have been using WP forms for several months now without any problems. However, the WP forms notifications no longer forwards to the email address specified – first noticed this last week, and then this week none of the registrations have come through. We are in the middle of our registration period, so it causing us a huge headache – is there any way to sort this out? I don’t understand why something which was working fine so far has given up the ghost and died.

    Any help is appreciated!

    Hi flowerscat,

I’m sorry to hear that you ran into an email delivery issue. Unfortunately this occurs as a result of misconfigured server settings and/or filtering on the part of email providers, and as a result is becoming a common issue in WordPress and the internet as a whole. Additionally, in some cases it can begin fairly suddenly as you mentioned.

To fix this for all future emails, you can set up SMTP on your site. This will change the way that your site emails (including form emails) are sent, and also authenticate them so that email providers understand that they’re legitimate.

Here’s our tutorial with all of our recommended SMTP plugin options. This page also includes links out to specific tutorials on each option so that you can get this up and running as quickly as possible.

    I hope this helps!
