  • Hi @diane96,

When you get the chance, could you please try using the steps in WPBeginner’s detailed guide on troubleshooting WordPress to see if it helps resolve the issue?

It is correct, but my site works fine,
the only error is that it does not send the form and I get the error.

The same thing happened to me when updating my subdomain.

    Hi @diane96,

Can you please provide the URL of the form in question so that we can try and check it?

    Thank you.

    Yes,
I send you the link of my subdomain:

    Thanks

    Hi @diane96,

    Thanks for providing the link.

I see that your site is running WPForms version 1.6.3.1, and we’re currently on version 1.6.4. Besides adding new features and enhancements, plugin updates also fix known issues. It’s possible that this is either causing or contributing to the issues that you’re seeing, so we need to start with this.

In case it helps, WPBeginner has a detailed tutorial on how to update plugins on your site.

Could you please update to the latest version and try testing the form? If that doesn’t fix things, we’ll at least be able to troubleshoot more easily from there.

    Thank you.

I already update the plugin and also update the wordpress but it still doesn’t work 🙁

is there another way to verify the error?

    Thanks

    Hello @diane96,

In that case, can you please try to enable your error logs as that should be able have more information of the error that occurs on the website.

Please check this guide on how you could have that setup.

You may also get in touch directly with your hosting provider and ask them for your site’s error logs.

Once you have it, kindly provide us with the information as that could help us point out the cause of the issue when your site is getting the error 500 when submitting the form.

    Thank you.

    Hi @diane96,

We haven’t heard back from you in about a week, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist further, please feel welcome to continue the conversation (please just see my post above).

    Thanks!
