WP Favorite Posts and Custom Post Types

    I am trying to use this on a BuddyPress site with several Custom Post Types: Books, Authors, and Reviews. Is there any way to show the favorite custom post types on different widgets? I need to show favorite books, favorite authors, and so on but I could not find any work-around way to do it.

    Also is there any way to show the thumbnails, as an option in the widget and also in the favoritesʾ page?
