Hello, very sorry for my delay.

The free version of WP Edit does not currently have the capability you desire. It is available in the pro version; as long as your form field uses the basic WordPress editor.

Please let me know if I may be of any further assistance.

    Hi,

Well, it does look as if the author encoded that editor with the WP Editor function; however it also appears they have limited the buttons shown in the editor.

Now, I agree with how that works. You want to be very careful allowing front-end (anonymous) users to use certain parts of the editor (such as uploading files, or browsing your site directories).

So, I’m fairly certain the editor can be replaced with a customized editor using WP Edit Pro. But I’m not entirely 100% certain. The best recommendation I can make is to try it and see.

I cannot provide any further info regarding the Pro version, in this forum. If I may be of any further assistance with that, you may use my contact form to reach me directly, or my private support forums.

If I may be of any further assistance with WP Edit, please let me know here.

    Thank you.
