WP-ecommerce USPS weight based shipping

The forum article http://getshopped.org/resources/docs/store-settings/shipping/ says that weight based shipping is NOT supported in WP e-commerce. Is this still correct for WP3.0? What is the workaround for this deficiency?

Thanks
