WP e-commerce issue

So im running the most current version of wordpress and the most current version of WP e-commerce. I am running the Vulcan theme and in the settings you have the option to change the theme color. Whenever i activate the WP e-commerce it makes the vulcan theme default and it wont let me change the theme color to orange. How do i fix this??
