wp-cli post edit erases markdown

wp-cli post edit deletes post_content_filtered thus deleting the post’s markdown out of the database.

Obviously wp-cli can’t be calling JP Markdown’s actions/filters which do the clever post_content<->post_content_filtered swaps.

So is there a way around this?
