wp-admin not working

    I’m struggling to get into my wordpress site as the wp-admin link isn’t working anymore.

    The website itself http://www.samesearch.co.uk works fine but access to the admin area completely hangs with a blank screen.

    Although I can see my admin page (as I still have the page open from a few days back) when I try to access anything in it the blank screen appears.

    I have installed a number of plugins and I believe one in particular (page link manager) has casued this problem. How do I resolve it.

    Try:
    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    resetting the plugins folder has just messed up the whole website, I’m now in a worse position than not being able to access my website.

    How can I restore the changes that I have just made.

    Resetting the plugins folder as suggested on point 2 of your post.
