    I’m about to create 2 wordpress’s. And I remember back in the day you could rename the wp-admin folder. I’ve tried to read up on it, but the topic is over a year old.

    From what I saw, I heard it causes problems with plugins and its generally not a good idea. I found the htaccess way to protect it & adding the 2nd layer.

    But what is the general standard now? If someone decided to hack my side I’d prefer them not to be able to tell the wp-admin folder even exists.
    And btw my ip changes whenever there is a power outage so I’m not sure about locking in a ip address.
