So we had this plugin working in previous versions, but turned it off when we migrated the site to a new location. After the move we upgraded to Word Press 5.2, and went through checking our plugins to make sure everything was still functioning.

My client decided that they did actually want the “Last Modified” active, and so I turned it back on, for both Posts and Pages. The problem is, that it doesn’t show up on pages using the new block editor, but works just fine on the pages that are still in the old “Classic” style editor.

I know the plugin is working fine on the old pages, and it works fine using the short code for pages (I assume posts will work the same as well, BUT since this isn’t a “Blog” per se, there aren’t really any posts, just pages).

My clients are wanting to automate things like this as much as possible, as different people at different times may be the ones editing / creating pages, and as such, it can be a consistency headache if they have to manually fix / set this on pages they edit.

Any idea why this may be the case.

    WP Last Modified; 1.5.6

    Hi @cybersurfer1972

I have tested with your theme and every thing is working fine. Do you configure the plugin settings properly?

    Thanks!

    Hi Sayan,

So the odd thing is, I went through and double checked the settings, and turned a couple of the toggles on, and the Last Modified, is showing up on most pages, even some of the ones using blocks only, but it still wont show up on the home page, and one or two others, without the short code. As this is a simple fix, that my client is more than able to do, I guess we’ll just have to mark this down to weird WordPress quirks…

    Thanks

    Hi @cybersurfer1972

If you want to show on home page, please enable it from Posts Tab > Show on Archives.

    Thanks!
