Your theme showing js error. It maybe one of the reason. Please consult with theme Dev to resolve that js error (http://screencast.com/t/HvIsGmZyGb). And also please try plugin with the WordPress theme(Twenty fifteen etc.)

But it’s also not working anymore in the admin. The map doesn’t load there too and even a button to add a new map doesn’t work since WP 4.3. Is it possible that the theme I used causes that too???

I have teste on two different WP versions:
on WP 4.3 – not works in admin (not possible create new map at all)
on WP 4.2.4 – all works fine

I have checked Intergeo Maps – Google Maps Plugin with WordPress 4.3 and it is working fine. Please try downloading fresh copy of plugin and use it.
Have you tried plugin with WordPress default themes(Twenty twelve, Twenty fourteen etc.) as i suggested above.

same problem, map does not show at all since wordpress 4.3 update, even when using Twenty Eleven theme with deactivated plugins.
Had the same problem with latest WP. Fixed it by:
* Deactivating and deleting the plugin.
* Reinstalling the plugin.
* Deleting the default map shown in the backend.
* Creating a new map.
Works again!
Edit: After customizing the map the problem has come back. 🙁
Can we get a heads up on if this is being looked into guys? Still a great plugin if you don’t upgrade to wp4.3!

There are six authors for this plugin and noone has been able to provide a response to this issue for the past two weeks?
I have had to remove intergeo maps from all of my websites and revert back to the google maps embed code due to the lack of support.
