After the update to 3.0, the plugin has been completely unstable. Sites have crashed, numerous other bugs have been reported. There have been 5 updates in the past few weeks in an attempt to fix these issues. Every new update introduces new issues and fails to fix the previous ones.

One would think that an official plugin from a large company such as Cloudflare would have competent developers working on the project. But apparently that isn’t the case at all.

  • Hi @onp,

Sorry to hear you’re unhappy with the 3.x updates. The release was unstable initially and we’ve been working hard to get it back to a good state.

The root cause of most of the issues we saw in the 3.x release in my opinion was the fact that our development environments didn’t reflect how our customers were using WordPress in production. We’re in the process of setting up a staging environment which more closely mirrors the types of setups we’ve seen from customers’ bug reports to help prevent issues like this in the future.

3.0.5 was released today and we expect it to be stable. If you have any outstanding issues please submit a support ticket so we can continue to fix them!

    Thanks,
    John
