    With caching activated no request to youtube is sent.

    Support of the youtube data protecton mode would be great.

    Hi Frank,

    if you get the embedding code for a youtube video you can activate a checkbox
    “activate advanced data protection mode”. That results in a different URL in the embedding code. See here:

    <iframe width=”560″ height=”315″ src=”https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/t6QV4ldo4lI&#8221; frameborder=”0″ allow=”autoplay; encrypted-media” allowfullscreen></iframe>

    It would be nice to have the choice for that mode whith your plugin.

    Well, “enhanced privacy” only impacts the non-playing embed (which is done by LYTE) according to the YouTube Help section on embedding:

    When you turn on privacy-enhanced mode, YouTube won’t store information about visitors on your website unless they play the video.

    So although the domain name and option name implies enhanced privacy, this would offer no additional advantages in the context of LYTE I’m afraid ..
