    Many thanks to Jordy Meow for this great plugin.

    One improvement proposal:
    If the plugin is unable to generate a full resolution retina, it should use the highest available resolution instead.

    Example:
    I have uploaded an image with 1600px width.
    In my media settings I have set large images to 1000x1000px.
    So the plugin would not be able to generate the retina version 1000px@2x.
    Instead of providing no retina image it should use the original one with 1600px resolution as the one for 1000px@2x.

    Yes, that could be an option in the settings. If clicked, then if an image has no retina available I could pass the maximum resolution available instead. That would actually be the full-size, right? 🙂 That’s a good idea. I added this to my to do list, and since it’s not difficult to do I can add this quite quickly.

    I was waiting for a bug before releasing new things but it seems the plugin is more than stable these days. I just feel like I should make it easier for the beginner, I always get the same questions on the forums and by emails but I don’t know how to simplify it. Maybe a video or a tutorial integrated within the WP admin…
