workflow type

I just set the “workflow” to “with approval”.

So, I am wondering what I should expect. Does this mean when a member submits an article I will get notified and then can approve it for publication?

How do I get notified? Does it go to my admin email? Or do I have to check the site to see the post?

Do the post get submitted as drafts? Just unclear on what to expect… and I do not like surprises.
