    Hi,
    Support PDF Embedder,
I am using the plugin. But recently the plugin is not displaying the pdf and is showing error “setting up fake worker failed cannot read property WorkerMessageHandler of undefined”
To see the error just click any button on the link page and on new page will show the error and no pdf is shown.
The changes I have done on the site added SEOpress pro plugin and the hosting provider has started CDN on Cloudflare basic plan.
    Please advise me.
    Thanks

  • Hi @myetutors,

There are a couple of things you need to look into, the first being the new CDN. Configuration of CORS (cross-origin resource sharing) is the first place to start. We have instructions here: https://wp-pdf.com/kb/hosting-pdfs-on-other-services-such-as-amazon-s3/.

This is usually enough to resolve the issue of missing PDFs. If not, proceed to the second step: https://wp-pdf.com/kb/setting-up-fake-worker-failed-error-message/.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to send an email to contact@wp-pdf.com as we may not see messages posted here to respond in a timely fashion.

    Hi,
I am having this issue as well, however, I am not savvy enough to understand the instructions in the links of the fixes. I am hot hosting a PDF on another site, I am hosting it in my site’s media gallery, but am getting this error when i plug the shortcode into a Divi theme code module. Divi support did a test with my PDF and the exact same code on a test Divi themed website and it worked fine.

Perhaps a plugin is in the way, or if not, and I do have to do what you suggest in the first solve above, could you further explain where i go to make the changes that are talked about in the fix?
