Try switching to the default theme and deactivating all other plugins.
Done. No plugin, theme twenty seventeen. Symptom is the same.
A brand new testing result: This error is exists only on https sites.
Summarize: If a site has SSL and used with Firefox 54, there is no feedbact at all to user about sending e-mail.
Can this be a bug? Can you repair it?
You need php error log? Why we don’t checked before!
