    I want to purchase a wordpress.com theme and use it on my wordpress.org site, hosted elsewhere. Is that possible?

    Earlier I tried to upload a different theme I had downloaded for free, and it told me the upload exceeded the file size. I am worried this will happen after I pay for the wordpress.com theme I like, and then it will be 89 dollars down the drain.
