WordPress.com site stats access denied error

    I started getting the Access Denied error from WordPress.com site stats about the same time the denial of service attacks hit WordPress last week and assumed the two were connected.

    Now I’m not sure.

    The message says:

    “While trying to retrieve the URL: http://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?

    The following error was encountered:

    Access Denied.
    Access control configuration prevents your request from being allowed at this time. Please contact your service provider if you feel this is incorrect.

    Your cache administrator is …”

    I’ve been using the plug-in for nearly two years without a problem, so something must have changed somewhere. Any ideas what?
