• After reading the support forums of wordpress and talking with yahoo web hosting support it seems like these 2 don’t mix well together. At this time no one can register, (password email never gets sent) and the new problem that just came about is no one can make a comment anymore.

I am curious if there is even one person that has yahoo web hosting with word press where password emails actually get sent to new people that try to register.

Just got off the phone with yahoo and they said they don’t support the software and I should contact wordpress to solve the issue, at this point I would just like the blog to work, am I asking too much here?

  • Gotta admit that I don’t like Yahoo hosting but for other reasons. They’re well know for supporting spam sites and do not respond to complaints.

Look at it this way. They’ve now told you that they’re not going to support you or your site. I bet though that if you’re late with your payment, you would be hearing from them.

    +1 move.

There are plenty of cheap hosts that offer 1-click installs of WordPress and make things extremely easy to do…

I use midphase.com and anhosting.com (same company)… they have 24/7 phone support, which is much better than dreamhost.com, who make you pay for phone support and even then take a day to call you back (you can’t call them).

For $6.95 per month, you can host at anhosting.com… with huge disk space and TBs of bandwidth. […]

I had a feeling the move from yahoo was eminent, I guess in the back of my mind I was hoping that there were a few yahoo users that actually got this blog working on their own with out yahoo support. Thanks for the help guys.
