wordpress with add-on domains

HI – can anyone pls help with using wordpress and addon domains.

Can i use wordpress with addon domains? Can i make wordpress come up (show) as the index/main page of the addon domain (ie – i don’t want it so show the http://www.mydomain/wordpress, but rather http://www.wordpress.com) (using the addon domain in my cpanel, not the main domain)

how do i do this if it can be done?
