WordPress URL Prefix / PermaLinks / MultiSite
-
I’m working on the WordPress infrastructure of our site, want to do the following:
- http://domain.com => Main Site (lang: EN), Pages only
- http://domain.com/nl/ => Main Site (lang: NL), Pages only
- http://domain.com/support/ => Support Site, Pages only
- http://domain.com/blog/ => Blog, mainly Posts, few Pages
- http://domain.com/anotherblog/ => Another type of Blog w/ different template, mainly Posts, few Pages
The question is, what would be the best setup for this infrastructure?
- Can this be done using PermaLinks (don’t see this happen in standard WP Settings > Permalinks?)?
- OR is it better to just use separate WP installs?
- OR should we use the WP MultiSite feature (http://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network)
- OR should we do something completely different?
Hope you can give some advice, thanks!
