• Blog.com has it in the Google tool bar… is anyone working for something similar? It would be very useful.

  • can’t you add a right click option so that you can use wordpress? I know there’s that sidebar option.

I’m not sure I follow you. But I’m trying to decide which major blog to use, and Blogger.com (not blog.com) is right now a little ahead of WordPress, only becuase I got a lot of not so tech savy writers that will be contributing to my blog lined up.
That BlogThis! button is frankly, very attractive to me.

I believe the WordPress bookmarklet is what you are after.

yup, that’s the thing. log into the admin section and the bookmarklet should be ready to be dragged to your browser bar.

Hmm.. I check it out. But honestly… a freakin’ button/toolbar, is more more attractive to my writers than a toolbar they have to remember to get from logging into my blog.
    Sooo….
I was thinking… considering that the BlogThis! is so popular… I was wondering if there are any tools out there that would concurrently parse Blogger.com FTP dumps, and transfer published messages into WordPress?
That way you get the benefit of the BlogThis! button, you throw a bone to Blogger.com/Google.com, but we end up using the blog of choice. Which after almost two days of downloading, installing, testing, I really really really want to use WordPress.

send them the link, tell them to drag it to their links/bookmarks toolbar, and then they will have a toolbar button. It will essentially behave the exact same was as the blogthis! button.
