WordPress Support Suggestions

I am wondering where people with little knowledge go to for professional support with WP issues. I have been using these forums for a while trying to fix my issue with no success. I recently explored fiverr but am unsure on the safety of this site. I am not too comfortable with giving my FTP and WP access info. I mean, they can only mess with my site which seems like a pointless effort but I am not sure. Suggestions?
