wordpress site split in two

    Hi I have a problem

    in my site http://www.example.com the homepage seems to read off one database and the rest of the site off another.

    That means when I log in to my site and try to make a change to a page, the pages never appear. I assume they are being stored in a different database.

    I have somehow seen the filestructure of the site. in publi_html it has WP installed in the root and then again nin another folder. what a mess!

    somehow it seems to ahve been installed over 2 databases.

    i have no idea how this has happened.

    how should I resolve this? can anyone help?
