The hosting looks fine –
what’s the first thing i should be looking to debug where the actual issue is?
I would disable all plugins and switch to default wordpress theme. Then test again. If the site load is still taking close to 10 secs, then take Dan14’s advice and contact your host. If the site loads much faster with the plugins and theme disabled, then you can activate one by one until you find the conflicting plugin/theme.

I tried “ping http://www.lexyconllc.com” at the command prompt and the results were around 170 ms. By comparison, my own cheapo shared hosting gives 23 ms. So it looks like your webserver has slow hardware and/or is overloaded. Ping speeds depend on transient internet conditions, so try over few days to get a pattern.
You might also try this plugin:

to see if any particular plugin is slowing things down.
I note you have optimised your images but you still have quite a number of them and they are quite large. Consider redesigning the front page with less and smaller images. Maybe some of the images can go inside the site to allow the front page to load snappily.

Yes looks like the real issue is with the hosting provider. I am working on getting that changed.
