Looking for help on my work website which became extremely slow once imported using the All-In-One WP Migration plugin.
When I decided to double save the permalink settings by clicking the hypertext, it takes an extremely long time to load.
I can manage sometimes to load the main page, but most of the time (such as when trying to access the admin panel through /wp-admin), it takes such a long time that it results in a 504 gateway timeout error.
As I am migrating a website I have not yet configured the existing domain to point to the new IP, as I do not wish the existing domain name to point to a pretty much unusable website. Surely that could not be the problem, right?

Try to set WP_DEBUG to true on wp-config.php then refresh the page. More details here.
You will likely see lots of issues that could be the cause of the loading. You can also request error logs from your hosting provider and see what is causing the loading issue.
If the hosting plan is too limited, your server might not have enough resources for the website that was just imported.
