WORDPRESS SITE EXTREMELY SLOW

I have a new wordpress site and installed woocommerce with the Articifer theme. I am very happy with how everything works except the entire site loads EXTREMELY SLOW. It doesn’t matter if I am editing or in the site, every page, post, etc loads extremely slow.

My host IPOWER did increase my memory to 128mb and also turned on compression but it didn’t help at all. I tried installing a cache and optimize program but then I had to uninstall them because certain things didn’t seem to work.

I am selling products on my wordpress site and can’t have it be so slow customers will get frustrated. I even get frustrated.

Any thoughts? I would sure appreciate it. Thank you.
