    For a wordpress blog, i have created a very simple image slider that uses cycle2 plugin ( http://www.malsup.com/jquery/cycle2/ ). I have used this because the use of responsive and also touch swipe for tablet and mobile.

    I am looking for a way that when the user logs into the admin area of WordPress and wants to add a post and an image (or more) that this slideshow plugin comes into use.

    So if the user adds an image to the post, it will display and if there are more than 1 images the slideshow plugin will show.

    I think that it will involve adding a function within the function.php file or has this even been possible to do before?

    Any guidance on where to start would be helpful. I have looked at WordPress plugins but they are not what I’m after and again, strongly would like to use this plugin.

    Which option have you implemented among these http://www.malsup.com/jquery/cycle2/demo/ ?

    Apologies here is my code. At the moment its in the entry-content file so the slideshow is shown on each article where i just want it as a template on the admin add media bit 🙂
