WordPress.org blocked on network

    Hello,

    We’re a small hosting provider in Romania. Recently I’ve noticed access to wordpress.org is blocked from our internal network and IP subnet. As a consequence, no client can automatically install WordPress on our VPS and shared hosting.

    I have no ideea what caused this blocking, yet we wanna work with WordPress to resolve this issue so our users can enjoy our beloved CMS.

    Why did this happened? How can we talk with a representative to resolve thios?

    WordPress.org does not permanently block access from IPs and networks.

    It can be temporarily done when too many requests are received (HTTP error 429 on your side) or uplink datacenter in case of massive attacks.
