wordpress not sending emails

    My wordpress site supposed to send the activation link when a user register in our site and a welcome mail after he activate the account. now the mail is not getting delivered to members. it was working till few days before. the thing is that site can send mail to the ids created in the domain (signageeternity.com) but not getting delivered to other domain like gmail, live ….

    another thing is woocommerese is sending mail to any domain if someone make a purchase and the customer get the mails properly..

    i have deactivated the plugin and checked.and also reinstalled the wp admin, wp include and other file but still i haven’t get the notification mail.

    am a beginner to wordpress..pls help me

    I do not know very much at all about all of this, but I suspect this is your problem:

    DMARC, which stands for “Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance”, is a technical specification created by a group of organizations that want to help reduce the potential for email-based abuse by solving a couple of long-standing operational, deployment, and reporting issues related to email authentication protocols.

    DMARC standardizes how email receivers perform email authentication using the well-known SPF and DKIM mechanisms. This means that senders will experience consistent authentication results for their messages at AOL, Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo! and any other email receiver implementing DMARC. We hope this will encourage senders to more broadly authenticate their outbound email which can make email a more reliable way to communicate.

    It all has to do with how your domain sends e-mail and what kinds of filters are in place at the receiving end. I use the ‘WP Mail From II’ plugin to help with that and I believe most e-mails get through, but I do not yet know of any ultimate solution here in relation to all.

    Alternatively, use Mandrill (by the makers of MailChimp) which should give you better email deliverability than WordPress alone.

    Thank you all for your reply. i fixed the issue. i had made some changes on the functions.php and that caused the issue. now everything work perfectly.

    i used Mandrill but got some issues there also may be its because of the changes i made in the functions.php.
