    Hi,

    Can someone help me? I read that “that the Uploading Setting in the Settings Media Screen describes the location and structure of the upload directory (where your media files are stored).”…but when I go to this area, all I see is a checkbox that says “Organize my uploads into month-and year-based folders.

    There is no location telling me where the uploaded images are actually held.

    They are stored in the wp-content/uploads directory on your server.

    Thank you! I’m not the one who originally set up our site. Is it possible for these media files to be “FTP’d” on multiple host servers? I’m trying to find a solution to our files not loading, and this is one of the suggestions that our server team gave us.

    Possible? Yes. I’ve heard of such things being done but I’m not sure where you’d look to figure out what server they are on if this is the case as I’ve personally never setup an install like that.
