WordPress (Linux) as Subfolder of Windows Server

I am looking for a way to run a WordPress site (on Linux) as a subfolder of a Windows server site. — http://mysite.com/wordpress

I do not want to do a domain forward and mask to a subdomain (e.g. http://mysite.com/wordpress forwarded to http://wordpress.mysite.com)

I do not want to host the WordPress site on Windows server (performance and usability is better on Linux.)

Is it possible in this configuration, and if so, how?
