WordPress keeps failing to initial install screen

    Hi, can anyone shed any light on this please.

    After making a few updates to my WordPress/Woocommerce site, on saving the site reverts to the initial install screen. Then after a period of a few minutes (often around 20 to 30 minutes) it automatically resets and I’m logged in and is available again.

    I’m assuming that it may be losing connection with the database? As far as I can see wp-config is OK.

    Has anyone seen this before and knows what I should do?

    At the moment the site is in development, however I need to get it resolved before going live.

    Close, not lost connection, but WP thinks there are no tables for some reason. I’m guessing the SQL server is overloaded, it’s often shared with hundreds of other sites. It’s something your host would need to resolve for you.
