• Hi everyone,

I don’t know how iv’e done it but somehow iv’e managed to break the WordPress interface, so that my site while loading the data; lacks the stlye-sheet and the WordPress control panel. I have no idea how to get it back on and while using the /wordpress/wp-admin subdirectory doesn’t work the home page still finds the blog information (apart from the layout).

    my website is:

    http://www.wisewonky.com

any suggestions how i can fix this without reinstalling it all? Thanks in advance 🙂

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of your current version of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.
