WordPress installed, uploading theme doesn't work!

    Hello!

    I’ve got a problem with my wordpress that I’m hoping you can help me with. I’m new to Mac so it’s probably a simple mistake!

    I’ve downloaded xampp and installed WordPress. I come to Dashboard and everything seems to be working just fine. However, when i try to upload a theme I get this message:

    Unable to create directory /Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/htdocs/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/05. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

    Anyone know how to fix this? Maybe WordPress doesn’t have permission to edit files on my Mac?
