• Hello, WordPress community.

This is my first post. I have made my website with WordPress and a premium theme, everything is working just fine and now I can totally make a website for a friend or a client, actually now for a friend of mine. After he saw my website and how WordPress works, he asked me to make his website. He is a photographer.
I know how to make a website with my premium theme which has a ready template dedicated to photography. But I am not a developer, I will just edit the content, links, fonts and stuff like that.

My question is about the login criteria. Should i create a new account for my friend and start the procedure of WordPress installation from the beginning?and then purchase the premium theme? Can i just work with my account and create his website under my account i don’t even know if this is possible.
After i make his website i will not be responsible for maintenance. He will be responsible for the backend of WordPress.

Please, can anybody tell me how to start working and setup WordPress for a client?

    Thank you in advance.

What do you mean by “Under my account”? Do you mean your hosting accounts? Ultimately, as this is your friend’s site; he should purchase his own hosting and you’d build his site there. It’s a lot cleaner that way. It’s not tied to your credit card, etc.

Thank you for your answer, Steve.
I mean in my WordPress profile if i can have more than one website. But after i finish the project how is he going to login in WordPress? he must not use my profile obviously to go into his website.

when you install WordPress an initial administrator account is set up, but you can add an account for the site owner or any other users with any role including editor or administrator.

@christosg, you should also consider licensing terms of premium theme you purchased. It may or may not allow you to use the theme more than website or client. In this case you or your friend needs to purchase another license.
