    Hi
    We recently moved to a self hosted website (www.confusedbawarchis.com) from a WordPress.com blog (confusedbawarchis.wordpress.com)
    The WordPress.com support did move our WordPress followers to the new site. However the WordPress reader does not show our new posts. Is there a way this can happen? Also can we add new WordPress followers on our new site going forward?
    Also is there a way to stop automatic theme and plugin updates? Today the jetpack pluggin auto installed and we lost all our previous settings and hence some functionality.

    Would appreciate any help.

    looks like your site is hosted at wordpress.com so you gotto check with them. this place (.org) is for self-hosted WP sites.

    I think Confusedbawarchis was saying they moved to a self hosted website.

    However the WordPress reader does not show our new posts

    The reader is a wordpress.com thing isn’t it?
