WordPress email & passwords

Hello, I am an admin on multiple websites and have been trying to send out password reset links to different clients and even other team members, but I need help finding the email with the password reset. I can manually change the passwords and securely share them with the clients, but they should be able to change the password to whatever they want without me being the middleman. How can I get WordPress to send out the emails it should send? The “Lost Password” feature also doesn’t seem to send the email, nor have we received a notification through WordFence as an admin.
