wordpress default search doesn't seem to work well

    I have noticed that if I used the default search feature in wordpress it doesn’t often find articles.

    For example, I can search on the word “art” and even though I have a post entitled “the art of xxxx” it will not find it.

    My installation is pretty generic. Any idea why the search feature’s results are so bad?
