  • WAMP5 is an outdated version of Wamp Server 2. Why don’t you try that instead? Make sure that WAMP5 is uninstalled prior to the latest Wamp Server installation.

    Hello
I tried Wamp latest version WampServer2.1e but after installation mysql service did not start & it gives error:
“Could not start the wampmysqld service could not start on local computer
Error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly”

plz helpe me to resolve this problem

    Thnx & regards
    MAT

    Try checking this:

    open my.ini and find
    default-storage-engine=INNODB
    Change to:
    default-storage-engine=MyISAM

I’m using XAMPP, you might want to try that. With this I never had any problems at all.

    thnx a lot sir…..
    I installed Xamp 1.7 version & i successfully installed wordpress 🙂
