WordPress Customizing in Custom Theme

    Hi, first of all, this is in no way related to my previous question. I wanted to ask you how to get the Customize option to work with a custom theme. My website is at http://www.mixedniches.com and I would ask you to look at it.

    For example, when I add a title to the WordPress Customize application, nothing changes. My website’s title stays as it is.

    If I wanted to add a new page, it does not show up in the top-right navigation bar. How can I sync WordPress with this theme so that I can Customize it in the simple Customize option instead of CSS, as I can’t edit CSS for an extra page.

    I’m sorry if I’m being a pain, but I don’t understand a word of that, I’m also not familiar with PHP(I only know html, css & jscript). Where do I access wp-customize? I have no idea.

    Could you perhaps simplify it step-by-step? Thanks.

    I’m sorry but that’s about as simple as it gets. The tutorial does break it down step-by-step.
