WordPress Custom Header with Variable Height?

    I’ve setup a custom header on my WordPress site, however I was wondering if there is any way I can set the custom header to work at different heights or if it always has to be the same set size?

    Currently my header size is 925 x 465 – however I may want to use shorter or taller graphics.

    Is that possible with the custom header functionality?

    Not without editing the theme’s functions.php file.
